The Vienna State Opera for Children
The Gildor Foundation's contribution and continuing commitment to the Vienna State Opera supports annual performances of "The Magic Flute for children".

The Metropolitan Opera
The Gildor Foundation supports the Metropolitan Opera in its general campaign and has also underwritten specific projects which further the Foundation’s goal of bringing opera to a wide audience.

The Gildor Foundation supported the "Joseph Volpe Gala", a celebration at the Metropolitan Opera on May 20, 2006. This once-in-a-lifetime concert honored Mr. Volpe's many contributions and years at the Met.

During the 2003-2004 season the Gildor Foundation sponsored the production of Fromental Halevy's "La Juive" for its first performance at the Metropolitan Opera since the 1936-37 season. This production premiered on November 6, 2003. During the 2002-2003 season, the Gildor Foundation sponsored the production of "Jenufa" by Leo Janacek. This production premiered on January 13, 2003 and ran through February 13, 2003.

During the 2001-2002 season, the Gildor Foundation sponsored a new production of "Luisa Miller", by Guiseppe Verdi. This production premiered on October 26, 2001 and ran through March 23, 2002.

The Gildor Foundation initiated and funded the video recording of the Met’s 2001 production of Guiseppe Verdi’s "Nabucco" (last performed by the Met in 1960). The television broadcast aired on June 11th, 2002.

Sponsored tour in St. Petersburg, Russia in August 2003 as part of 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg celebration. First tour in Russia since 1972.
